LatestMediKing 4.0 opens the platform up. Doctor profiles are now public and search-engine ready, with a custom web address, SEO settings, and a live sitemap. A new Live Serial board lets doctors run their chamber queue on a screen while patients follow the same queue from the doctor's profile. Prescriptions get a rebuilt writing console, walk-in prescribing, and a proper printed document with a verification QR code — with referrals, allergies, and follow-up dates recorded properly for the first time. Users can also export their data and delete their account themselves.
New
- Live Serial Board — a real-time queue for every chamber session. Serials follow the booking order and advance with the clock, one per visit slot, with large “Now serving” and “Up next” cards, a full-screen mode for the waiting-room display, optional voice announcements, and a date picker to review or plan any day. Days with more than one chamber show A, B, C session chips, and the board refreshes itself every 20 seconds.
- Live Serial for Patients — every doctor profile now has a “View Live Serial” button. Anyone with the link can follow the day's queue from home, and patient names are shortened to an initial so nobody else's visit is exposed.
- Public Doctor Profiles — doctor profiles open without an account. Only the booking step asks for login when the admin requires it, and patients are brought straight back to the doctor's page after signing in. Visitors who scan a doctor's QR code still book without logging in.
- Custom Profile Address & SEO — doctors choose their own web address, page title, description, search keywords, and social share image from a new SEO tab on their profile, with a live preview of the Google result. Old addresses keep working and redirect to the new one.
- Search Engine Sitemap — a sitemap that updates itself as doctors join, linked from robots.txt, so profiles are picked up by search engines faster.
- Walk-In Prescriptions — write a prescription for a patient who has no appointment: search for the patient and prescribe from the same console.
- Download & Delete Your Account — a new account page explains what deletion means, lets you download everything MediKing holds about you as an Excel file, and then permanently erases the account once you confirm.
- Referrals & Allergies on Prescriptions — record a patient's drug allergy and refer them to another department or doctor with a reason, all from the prescription screen. Allergies are printed as a clear warning banner so they are never missed.
- Follow-Up Scheduling — set a follow-up in days or months and the date is worked out for you, then printed on the prescription with the day of the week.
- Prescription Verification QR — every printed prescription now carries a QR code. Patients scan it to open their prescription online — no login, no lost paper.
- Share a Doctor's Booking Page — doctor profiles now include a share panel with a booking QR code, a copy-link button, and native sharing on mobile.
Improved
- Prescription Writing Console — rebuilt as a three-pane workspace: examination and vitals on the left, the prescription itself in the middle, and lab tests, referral, and print options on the right. Vitals entered once flow straight into the BMI, BMR, and insulin calculators, lab tests are added as quick chips, and Ctrl+P saves and prints.
- Printed Prescription Redesign — a proper A4 medical document: doctor letterhead with degrees and chamber details, patient strip, examination findings, numbered medicines with সকাল / দুপুর / রাত dosing icons, advice as a checklist, investigation chips, and a follow-up panel. Printing without the letterhead now reserves space for pre-printed stationery.
- Doctor Booking QR Card — redesigned in the MediKing style with the MK monogram, the doctor's degrees and speciality, and a cleaner download.
- About Us Editor — the admin About page is now a single dedicated editor instead of a table and pop-up, so the whole page can be edited in one place.
- Login Page — a refreshed, animated sign-in page in the MediKing style.
Fixed
- Medicines now actually appear on the printed prescription — previously they were dumped as a plain bullet list with no dose or duration formatting.
- Prescriptions saved without an attachment no longer offer a broken, empty download.
- Doctors whose name is already stored with a title no longer print as “Dr. Dr. …” on the prescription.
- Long medicine instructions no longer overlap the dosing icons when they wrap.
